Vision Rehabilitation at Gottlieb Vision Group A variety of treatments are available to enhance the visual function of the brain injured patient. Some examples are special eyewear to increase awareness of the lost visual field and in some cases, to create the possibility for recovery of the visual field, therapy to improve eye tracking and convergence, and prismatic treatment to stabilize images contributing to spatial confusion and sometimes panic attack. Medical filters and tints to increase contrast and function are often incorporated into the medical systems. At Gottlieb Vision Group, we work closely with professional team of physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, physical and speech therapists to achieve the best possible rehabilitation outcome for our patients.
